Jim Mayer is a podcast host, producer, event moderator, and above all: a manufacturing storyteller. His strength isn't the camera or the microphone. It's walking into a room, asking the right question, and making the person across from him feel like the most important person in the conversation.

Is this only for manufacturers?

No. We work with manufacturers, OEMs, vendors, associations, workforce organizations, and event producers. If your work touches manufacturing and you have a story worth telling, we should talk.

What comes out of the Storyboard Session?

A complete production plan that maps your story, your audience, and the best format to tell it. Specific enough to act on and detailed enough to get competitive quotes if you want them. Yours to keep whether we work together or not.

We're a small shop. Is this really for us?

Yes, and smaller is sometimes better. A 30-person shop with a tight culture and a 20-year legacy has more compelling story material than most enterprise brands. The Storyboard Session is specifically built for companies where the owner or a solo marketing person is carrying the whole load. You don't need a content department. You need someone who can walk in and find what's already there.

What if we decide not to move forward after the Storyboard Session?

The production plan is yours. No strings. We built it that way on purpose; if we can't give you something valuable in 60 minutes, we haven't earned the rest of the engagement. Most clients find the plan itself shifts how they think about their story, regardless of what comes next.

Do you have to come on-site?

Not necessarily. Some of our best work starts remotely: a recorded interview, edited long-form video, clips, and a case study or blog, all from a single session. On-site production is available and often the right call for deeper storytelling, but the Storyboard Session will tell us which approach fits your situation and your budget.

What does a typical engagement cost beyond the Storyboard Session?

It depends entirely on what the production plan calls for. We have options starting at $2,500 and on-site production packages for deeper engagements. The Storyboard Session scopes what makes sense for your situation, so you're never guessing at a budget before we know what we're building.
